Why this exists
Promise Legal started with a simple observation: technical founders kept being talked down to by their lawyers. Advice arrived slow, hedged, and billed by the hour, from people who had never read a line of the thing being built. So we built a firm the way software gets built — flat fees, transparent pricing, an attorney who is also a working developer, and one operating principle: question the premise.
The best conversations we have with clients were never really “legal consultations.” They’re founders comparing notes on the compliance question they didn’t know they had, the clause that bit them, the raise that almost went sideways. Those conversations deserved a room. This is the room.
